I was a bit slow at signing up when Modern Domainer Magazine launched but I checked out the site and signed up for a limited time FREE trial offer. (my kind of price) Today I got my first issue and just finished reading it.

It was a pretty good read and happened to be the "Domainer’s Blog Bible" Volume 1 issue. There were only a couple articles besides the blog writings which just happened to be pretty much copies of what some of the top blogs had on them. ?

I liked The Roundup section which was near the start of the magazine. The next was a nice section about the business of domaining. The Blog Bible pretty much took up ALL the rest of the magazine, which was pretty much "old news" to me, so I was a little unhappy with that.

The magazine isn’t full of ads as I thought it would of been (ad prices are not cheap). The ads are spread out with several different companies such as Parked.com, 19Parking.com, WhyPark.com & RevenueDirect.com as the four "parking" companies. Grassroots.org, Fabulous.com and GreatDomains.com etc but a couple other companies/sites that I never heard of and I wanted to checkout.

BuildsOut.com which is a company that helps optimize your domain names by building a content rich site for you for a small fee or near no cost. The service is still in beta but might be something to checkout. ~(Personal take on thesites domain name itself…. so/so. Not easy to say. The singular version just seems much better.)

AIT.com which is a domain registrar, web hosting and more. The ad states $7.07 domain registrations.

SubPrimeDomains.com which buys domain names. ($4,500 ad)

WinnerNames.com which Sells domain names. ($4,500 ad)

Sendori.com This site looks pretty interesting and something that I am going to look into more. They state for domain owners "Maximize the value of your portfolio by sending visitors to highly targeted offers from trusted brands." The flash on the site shows your domain forwarding to a "companies" domain.
 

PingZine.com is a web hosting magazine! Not sure how effective that ad will be in a domainer magazine! Half naked chick in the ad, so I had to checkout the site to see what it was… LOL

I did go to the subscribe tab to sign up after I got my free trial, but it only shows the free trial sign up? No inserts in the mag either to send in to sign up… so I will have to contact them.
