ME! I am sitting here trying to think where to start and I must say there are so many things that upset me, I will just have to pick one to start with. So this is in no order.

Pricing~ NetworkSolutions.com is one of the most expensive places to register a domain name. $34.99 USD for a .com . I think it’s just crazy and they need to lower the price. Is it making a difference if people register domains with them? Hell Yah! In 30 days, they have had a positive gain of 6,109 domain names. In the same past 30 days, Godaddy.com has had a positive gain of 597,495 domain names! You tell me if it effects them. Now Godaddy is simply Killing all registrars but eNom had 93K, Tucows had 43K and even Wild West Domains (Godaddy resellers) had 52K.

Front Running~ If NSI doesn’t think they are front running, then we will see how the lawsuit turns out that was filed not that long ago. I have seen several news stories of people checking to see if a domain is available and NSI registering it. They explain it on their web site but big deal. Yesterday I sat on hold for 38 minutes, so who is going to sit on hold that long to ask them to redrop the domain. Stop Front Running NetSol. It’s a bunch of BS. Remember, that 6K new domains compared to Goaddy’s nearly 600,000! They do not see the need to "hold domains for customers.

Random Lock~ I wanted to transfer 4 of my 33 domain names that I have with Network Solutions. I started the process, but I noticed they all said they had a Lock on them and could not be tranferred out for another month or more. So after sitting on hold for 38 minutes, I was already steaming. I asked why the domains had this "Lock" on them. They were not transfered etc.. so there was no reason for them to be locked. The answer: Possible fraudulet activity. Come on. Why, because I transfer domains in and out all the time? This is my job and I move domains, I explained. The rep said, well that makes sense then. He said the lock would be removed in 24 hours or less. 28 hours pass, still locked. I call back and this rep tells me, that it takes upto 36 hours to remove the lock. Grrrrr. So now today, I get an email that I need to send a fax, with my picture ID, a short letter asking for the domains to be unlocked etc. So after I do that, about 1 hour later, they are unlocked. I have had enought of this BS, so instead of transfering out 4 domains, I transfered everyone that I could. The rest will follow when they can!

Subdomain Stealing~ NSI has been using subdomains that are not used for domains that are registered and hosted wit them and putting up parking pages. So a domain like www.fffd.com which is a NSI parked page. So if you typed www.Free.fffd.com there is a parked page that NSI is making money on if somebody clicks or happened to visit the page. Put anything infront and it will work. Now that is a bunch of BS as well……

I guess I could just keep going, but NSI has lost all trust in me and I am moving on! ICANN needs to act on them as well.
