A story on TMZ.com is highlighting a recent temporary restraining order that was brought against a company called CMAEON that was hired to do the website on PamelaAnderson.com but Pam claims the shopping cart feature didn’t work on the site.

CMG Brands was then hired to manage the site but according to legal docs, CMAEON kept on trucking along with the site and wouldn’t hand over control.

Then came the restraining order for CMAEON and the judge ordered the website shut down.

So now the website doesn’t even resolve to an "Under Construction" type page or "We are redoing the site" etc. The site simply doesn’t even load at all.

CMG Brands should have the site up and running soon according to the TMZ article but IMO it would be wise to get at least a message on the site that it is being redesigned etc. Having a website simply not resolve leaves people questioning what is going on and can lead to people simply not coming back in the future.

This is the first time that I have heard a restraining order related to a website!
