I have never done one of these before, so I thought offering a Hotlist for PendingDelete domain names that need to be Backordered by tomorrow (2-21-09). It is always best to place a backorder asap so a.) you do not forget b.) you miss out! LOL both about the same but we are forgetful.
It is also known best to backorder a domain name you Really want at all 3 major backordering services for the best chance at getting into the auction for the domain since you can never tell who will obtain the domain, if at all. SnapNames.com, Pool.com and NameJet.com hold the best shot at capturing the domain and in the order listed.
Here is a list. All domain names are linked to SnapNames for easy backordering but you can also backorder at any service you wish. $59 No up front costs at SnapNames. $69 at NameJet. Pool is $60.
Not all these domain will be liked by "all" but most should. I know one thing.. going throught that big ass list wasn’t fun! I learned some things to use next time, so I can have a little longer list and help me pick out the better domains.

Thanks Jamie
Can you share what you learned on weeding through such big lists. What are some of the things we can do to sort. Step by step would be great.

Just curious-do you look for age and potential traffic or are you more focused on the keywords and brandability? P.S. If you haven’t noticed Afternic just produced a report on 2008 sales.

@Cathy
I wish it was that easy Cathy, but I am finishing up on a tool to take care of all this. PendingDelete domains have unfocused tools for them. Lazymate.com will help when it get’s redone (working on it now). DRT software can help as well.
It just really depends on what YOU are looking for as this will change on how you search.

@ Leonard
thanks for the heads up.
Domain age can help find domains and I many times use DRT for that. It takes some time to run the scan, but it’s worth it. I always simply go by Keyword and the Potential a domain can have. That is sometimes Brand ability, call to auction etc.

I will check out the Afternic report

Thanks for the digging Jamie. Also, you may want to add to your arsenal our Domains Dropping Soon Tool. It has an advanced search criteria box that you can use to sort through the ton of domains that we port in daily. Here it is: http://www.domainsuperstar.com/dashboard.php?tool=dropping

I have question regarding posted links. Do Snap names provide Affiliate program? How you become affiliate for them. Thanks.
