PetsUnited, LLC is no stranger to domain names and they just added another domain to their stable, AskTheVet.com for $10,000 USD which was purchased at Sedo.com . PetsUnited owns many of the best pet/animal related domain names like Dog.com, Cat.com and Horse.com as well as many other premium related domain names like Farm.com and Garden.com .
In a 2007 article on inc.com, brothers Alexander and Carlo Tabibi the founders of PetsUnited, LLC talked about many of their web properties and some of the prices paid to obtain them. Back in 2004 according to the article, Dog.com was purchased for $500,000. That investment clearly would be a great deal to what the domain name alone is worth today. Alexander stated they have paid between $500,000 to $1 Million for some of the domain names they own.
Wind.com and Solar.com are two other domain names owned by PetsUnited, LLC.
I wouldn’t say AskTheVet.com fits exactly in with the other super premium domain names they own but I can see the domain name fitting in with the others they own and they likely have a nice plan for development with the domain.
