The domain name Science.org sold during the week of 9/21-9/27 2009 at Sedo.com showing a price tag of $20,000 .

Great domain name at a price that I think was a great deal. Some of the largest companies are in the science field. Science is around us every single day and will always be.

I was thinking a company like DuPont or the Science Channel would of been the wise new owner of Science.org but after doing a little digging, it was not either of the two above companies.

According to whois history records, a company by the name of Phone To Phone Inc. was the buyer of Science.org before going into private registration.

According to BBB.org, Phone To Phone Inc. was founded by Mr. Boris Kreiman. If you are into Chess, you may know Boris as an American Grandmaster of chess according to wikipedia.

Mr Kreiman started the Kreiman Chess Academy which is dedicated to incorporating chess into educational systems and to establishing competitive chess programs along the west coast.

Phone To Phone Inc. made another domain name purchase at Sedo.com in September 2009 and included another .org domain that was also five figures. That domain name was Attorney.org which was purchased approx 9-18-2009 for $38,500.

Some "other" domain names owned by Phone To Phone Inc and Mr Kreiman that I could find include:

  • Laws.com
  • Docket.com
  • NewLawyer.com
  • KreimanChess.com

Science.org was developed into what appears to be a blog about science. Attorney.org uses the same template as Science.org does and also appears to be a blog style site with legal type data. Laws.com… same thing as above. Docket.com same thing as above. NewLawyer.com is different then all of the above.

According to DomainTools.com registrant search, the email address used in the above domains hold records for a total of 90 current domains and historical records with 904 domain names.

BBB.org has Phone To Phone Inc. business type listed as:  Internet Marketing Services.
