I thought I would have a little fun and "write" some of my random domain related thoughts so you could read them :)

~ A domain name should explain itself, the owner shouldn’t have to explain the domain.

~ I wonder how long before these near bankrupt auto companies start putting "Ford.com" as their badges instead of just Ford. The domain can still fit inside the blue oval? Talk about cheap advertising! Think of the amount of vehicles they put on the road every year. Domains work world wide! I think one day it will happen in some way, instead of just the auto dealer putting on their web address with a decal.

~ If women are so smart, why is the domain industry 85% Male and 15% Female?

~ My dad thought today that our local paper was killing itself because it offered it’s news for free online. I told him if it wasn’t for the paper’s online site,  the "print" part wouldn’t still be available! He didn’t seem to "get" how the news was free online and how the site could stay "open". I made sure to point out all the Ad’s on the site for him. I think he got it then.

~ Godaddy must make a shit load of money! No wonder why Bob has like 15 motorcycles.

~ If everything is so slow in the domain industry (every where really) why does it still take Network Solutions 3 days to reply to an email inquiry?

~ Out of every product on my desk, not a single one has a domain on it? Cordless phone, Cell Phone, Mouse, Mouse Pad, Keyboard, Zip Drive, Coffee Cup, Calculator, Speakers, Headphones, Pen & Notepad. No wonder I can never reorder shit that I like.

~ This freak’n keyboard is "new" but it still doesn’t have a ".com" button? I use about 40 keys on it, so any of the other 83 buttons could be ".com"!!!! Yes, I took the time to count the 123 buttons on my keyboard, which makes me even more ticked! 123 keys and it doesn’t have a ".com" button. Geezzzz

~ What happened to Damir? The very frequent commentor on domain blogs?

~ I wish I could start a "plastic" mold type company and make things. Have you ever look around and see how many things are plastic that are made in a mold? I don’t even own any "plastic" domains but maybe I should!

I hope you enjoyed this a little and it changed things up a bit. I have many more thoughts that I am going to start writing down so I don’t forget them all. Most I forget before I think of writing them down, so I’m sure I can do these kinds of post pretty often if you enjoy them!
