It’s another weekend and this time it’s a Holiday Weekend in the US. I have said many times that this is a Great Time for those who spend a few hours each day and buy some domain names. A lot of people are away on vacation and will be having so much fun they forget about auctions ending today, tomorrow and Monday! Your chances can become higher at finding a gem and getting if for a very fair price!
Watch the PendingDelete drop lists, as less competition will be around. Same goes for Goaddy.com Auctions, SnapNames.com auctions, NameJet.com auctions and Sedo.com auctions.
~ I would like to roll out a couple new sites this coming up week and I have a handful of domains that I have picked to use. PremiumLogos.com is one, BasicSites.com is another and I have a general idea of what I want to do with WeekendCash.com as well.
~ I will be heading "up north" in a little bit to do some playing (work) at our hunting camp. Cleaning up to do, some fallen tree removal off of our 4-wheeler trails and just hanging around with the guys for a BBQ this afternoon.
~ I have a nice brand new HD sony video camera and tripod…. so I would like to start posting some videos on DotWeekly. I just have not fully decided what I want to do yet. Just me talking, doing interviews on the street with everyday people and ask them questions about domain names and websites or some other ideas I have floating around. Suggestions are welcome 
~ Afternic rolled out a nice sale yesterday. $5,800 for LetsGive.com . According to whois, that domain is less then 2 yrs old, but does have whois history to 2005. So it was either grabbed during the drop for reg fee or was captured with a backorder. Either way, I’m sure it was a nice flip and I’m glad to see that kind of sale, as I own a lot of domain names that are similar.
~ TIP, be sure to include Meta Descriptions to your web site pages. This is very important and many do not add it. Page keywords are just as important! If you use WordPress, use the All In One SEO plugin. I also use the Headspace2 which is very similar. If you have any questions on how to use them, just let me know.
