Update: It appears the Serious.com domain name was renewed by the past owner before the auction finished and the renewal time ran out! The biding was up to $18,005 before Godaddy removed the auction due to the redemption renewal by the past owner.
The domain name Serious.com has reached expired status and has been sent to public auction.
Way back in 1994 was when the domain name Serious.com was first registered according to whois records and it appears the domain name gets some traffic as well. It looks like at least x,xxx a month.
Although serious is not associated directly with a product or service, it is still a common term that many people are familiar with, so it is easily remembered. This is important with any domain name!
The public domain name auction ends Feb 7, 2010 @ 9:13 AM PST. If you are serious about domain names or making a statement with your domain name, Serious.com is a domain name auction to keep an eye on!
Side note ~ There is still the chance the past owner of the domain name can renew before the auction ends or up to 6 days after the auction. If this were to happen, the auction would be removed or the winning bidders payment would be refunded if it reached that point.

That is a great domain but at $13,000 I think it is going for more than it is worth. At least to a domainer. It is only valuable for branding purposes since it has no product associated with it.
