The Slots.com domain name auction ends today at 2:15 PM CT and the domain name currently has 2 bids. You can view the auction at the link provided. The current bid price is $4,050,000 with the reserve price not being met. The stated reserve price is $5 Million and up but I had stated before that I think the reserve price is $6 Million due to when the domain was first listed, that was the minimum bid price. The minimum bid was later lowered the first day of the auction to $4 Million when bidder CasionCity placed a $4 Million dollar bid.
Bid increase amounts are $50,000 currently and you have to be pre-approved to place a bid. Since this is the case, I would say that the current two bids are legit.

With most auctions heating up near the end, I wouldn’t expect this auction to be any different. With the current 2 bidding parties there is a chance that 1 or more could join in the bidding. The real question is if the reserve price will be met. You can read an earlier post I did with some stats on the Slots.com domain here. This will be a fun auction to watch as it ends today and I’m sure the Moniker / SnapNames team are hard at work speaking with potential clients.
On an interesting side note: 18 other domain names containing the keywords "slots" currently have pre-bids at SnapNames. This was not the case before the Slots.com auction started. A lot of people jump on the bandwagon when specific domain names are in the spotlight and use the keyword to hopefully be able to make a profitable purchase. The simple fact is, these are domain names are not the crown jewel Slots.com!
