I tried visiting Snapnames.com several times this morning and I was getting a server error and the page would not load. I just tried again and now get a screen from Oversee.net that states SnapNames is down for Scheduled Maintenance.
If this really is "Scheduled Maintenance", the person who scheduled is should be Fired! Who runs maintenance when you have a BIG online auction in progress?
Snapnames is currently running the extended auction portion of the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction at Snapnames. If they did take the site down Yesterday, they are clearly over the time stated the site would be down.
As with any website downtime, it can come back up really at anytime. So the site may or may not be up as you read this, but that doesn’t hide the crazy fact of why you would take your site down for scheduled maintenance during a big event you are holding!
Update: Snapnames appears to be back up now

Moniker is struggling here. Auctioneer blew the live, too many names in the extended and site running poorly. They need some new talent in to get things under control. They make so much money on the drops, I guess this auction is not that important to them or a tleast that is how it comes across this year. I love snapnames but very disappointed.

I agree Shane. Right now I am happy I didn’t submit any names for the auction. In 20 days, snap is going to shoot themselves in the foot again!
