Dan if by “captured” you meant "acquire from the Registrant", then pardon my comment.

The company may be too cheap to pony up the bucks.

By the way, anyone who buys Snuggie.com would be taking a risk.

In all likelihood, the original 2002 registration date would not apply to the new owner as evidenced by many UDRP decisions.

"...they failed to capture Snuggie.com..."

Dan,

They couldn't have "captured" Snuggie.com since it's been regged since 2002.

They also do not own Snuggies.com. That's used by a department store and has been regged since 1997.

They opted for GetSnuggie.com which was regged July 2008.

But they didn't have the sense or foresight to protect their brand and also register GetSnuggies.com.

That was regged 3 months later Oversee.

They'd most likely lose it in a UDRP proceeding.

I agree they missed the boat on that one and that's for the main brand. Suggie For Kids was a rebrand of the Snugglette name itself.
