I had a fair amount of content, comments and I added to the content as well but still dropped. Amazon basically uses Adwords for everything, and includes Snuggie keywords but they are the only ones that I see. They also rank # 2 & # 3. Google put this post next to my other ranking on P2 but for some reason I can not rank higher then my first posting. I'm wondering now if my first posting is hurting me pass it up now. lol

Maybe Google is looking for more content? I wonder if some home spun video of kids in their Snuggies would help.
Another part of me wonders if the sites that are scoring better now are also buying Adsense campaigns. It would be evil, but certainly easy to do - 'reward' sites that are buying advertising with higher spot on the page.
Maybe you could try a little $10 a day Adsense campaign and see if it makes a difference.
But how are you doing in Bing and Yahoo? I have a couple of sites scoring top 3 in Bing but page 3 in Google!
BTW...

I did keep up on SEO with this particular posting, so that's kind of what made me scratch my head as I kept losing spots. I may have went a little overboard with getting away from a "main focus" and could be why I dropped.

be early and keep up the SEO and you can defend your position more easily that others can assault it! but when the likes of Amazon are sniping it can be rough
