By the looks of it, Shoppers.com has been paid for, making the sale of $166,000 usd Official.
The new owner is Xedoc Holding SA, which is located in Luxembourg. They currently have the domain name parked with Fabulous.com, but the page is blank.

I had been watching the domain name Shoppers.com as it had expired. The odd thing is, the domain name was with NetworkSolutions.com . When a Network Solutions domain name of this quality expires, it normally gets run threw it’s auction service, NameJet.com .
Shoppers.com for some reason did not. It’s not because it was not back-ordered […]
