Many people have heard the term "Frozen Tundra" or "Lambeau Field"®. Both are the same place and home of the NFL ® football team the Green Bay Packers®!

I live a short 3 minute drive to the legendary "Crown Jewel" of the National Football League®. The Green Bay Packers are the only team in the NFL® that is not owned by a person/company. The Green Bay Packers® are owned by the people of Green Bay, Wisconsin, City of Green Bay and the County Taxpayers.

For the first time ever, the Green Bay Packers® are on the front cover of the AT&T® Yellow Pages® phone book and I was happy to see included in the image is the domain name LambeauField.com .

9 years ago, this would not of made sense to the Green Bay Packers® to advertise like this because Lambeau Field® was only used 10 days out of the year for home games. That was it!

Lambeau Field® was voted on in a county-wide referendum that approved a half-cent sales tax increase on Sept. 12, 2000, the project was financed jointly by the City of Green Bay, county taxpayers, the Packers® and the NFL®. A $295 Million facelift which transformed a business that would only host events 10 days a year, to one that would host events 365 days of the year.

Not only was the stadium itself perserved during this 32 month operation to hold it’s tradition, the Packers® never once missed a home game due to the construction.

Since the renovation, Lambeau Field® no longer only holds "Packers® Games"! With the addition of the Lambeau Field ®Atrium, the Packers® have turned it into a place where fans can come any day of the week or year to check out their Packers Hall Of Fame®, stop down the hall at the Packers Pro Shop® (PackersProShop.com) grab some lunch at Curly’s Pub® or any of the several other year round restaurants. Getting married? You can get married at Lambeau Field® as well which is not only a very classy place but many "fans" dream to get married at such a special place! Looking for a nice place to impress some business people? You can hold your next meeting at Lambeau Field® as well.

The Green Bay Packers® continue to impress me with staying on top of changing times and understand the power of the internet as well with it’s 365 day Open Sign as they made Lameau Field® into itself! They do not only use the teams "name" Packers.com but also use wisely several other legendary and important terms. LambeauField.com, PackersProShop.com & PackersTrainingCamp.com to mention a few.
