I hope all that celebrate Thanksgiving had a great one with family and friends, got a good turkey nap and had lots of good times! This Thanksgiving for my wife and I was very exciting as we used the holiday to announce to our families about the baby we are expecting in July of 2009!

This is baby # 1 for us and we are very excited to say the least! Both of our mom’s will be first time grandma’s etc so all were excited to hear the news!

I am expecting the remaining of the 2008 domaining year to be slow due to the Holiday season and the economy but I am still buying when I can and see the right deal. I will be putting a good  deal of time for the remaining year on development as I do not want to push things for sale currently in this market or time of year.

I am still replying to every offer that comes in as I always do but they are not happening nearly as much as they use to. My domain portfolio is getting stronger and stronger so I have to blame the economy on the lack of offers, but I am still waiting for my developer to finish my "new system" I am putting in place to sell my domains.

This month was my Lowest parking rev month  since I have started domaining, so further reason to develop. I also scratch my head on developing because working with developers that I have ever tried simply Sucks! Failed promises, missed deadlines, iffy things etc.

I am still waiting for a development company to come along and please domainers… with fair prices, deadlines and so on but have yet to find any. (please do not contact me if you are a developer, I’ve heard it all already)

I spent the past 9 days with a nice group of Multi-Millionaires and the ones that I hung around with are just like You and Me! Real people that put their pants on the same way you and I do, dump in the toilet and brush their teeth etc. Each have their niche market in business (Camera store owner, McDonalds owner etc) but work hard at what they do. So that just shows that you (and I) still hold the chance to do it and make the Million! Domaining can do it and I think faster then my friends have made their fortune!

Here are a couple other funny things but have nothing to do with domaining… Just business and Insurance stuff so read if you wish…

Sooooo, I do not have dental insurance so I always pay my bill in cash before I leave after a visit. $126 for my cleaning this time but I get a $45 bill in the mail just before Thanksgiving. So I called the dentist today and the charge was for what I figured and let them know that I wasn’t happy about it..

A dentist came in for no more then 2 minutes and "tapped" around on my teeth after the lady cleaned them… So they charged me $45 for that and Renee (lady that cleans my teeth) forgot to add that onto my chart and the reason for the late $45 bill.

The lady on the phone today said the Dentist was looking for cavities, chipped or cracked teeth etc. They do that once a year blah blah… I didn’t think they charged $45 for that but clearly they do! So basically, every 3 months I get a cleaning that is $126.00 and once a year add on $45 ($171). $378 + $171 = $549. So the $500 a year from me isn’t enough so they have to stick in an extra $45 to top it off! Maybe they forgot about all the dental work I had done already this year that cost me over 10 Grand! Piss me off and a bad business move on their end I think! This little $45 could cost them my business! It just seem shady to get a late bill for any amount, let alone for the dentist to come in for 2 minutes and do nothing!

Then I open a $50 bill from the eye doctor that the insurance denied… from my last eye exam! Hmmmmm

The insurance does not cover contacts or "fitting exam" for contacts which is $20. This I had known from past visits and I paid the eyecare place the $20 of the $70 eye exam and paid the $60 for contacts. So the amount submitted to the insurance company was $50. This was my "yearly" eye exam btw..

The reason the insurance company didn’t pay the $50… according to them after sitting on hold for 17 minutes… I have a $50 Co-Pay! To go to the F’n eye doctor and you have a $50 Co-Pay. OMG!!!!

So convienent for the insurance company that my eye exam is $70 total! $20 of it they don’t cover because they do not cover a contact fitting exam! Plus I have a $50 co-pay which covers the $50 left on my exam, so really no reason to submit it to my insurance as it would become a "wash". The insurance company get’s to give another exec a raise because they escaped paying another claim IMO!

It’s just been one of these weeks already and it’s only Monday!
