I hope all that celebrate Thanksgiving had a great one with family and friends, got a good turkey nap and had lots of good times! This Thanksgiving for my wife and I was very exciting as we used the holiday to announce to our families about the baby we are expecting in July of 2009!
This is baby # 1 for us and we are very excited to say the least! Both of our mom’s will be first time grandma’s etc so all were excited to hear the news!
I am expecting the remaining of the 2008 domaining year to be slow due to the Holiday season and the economy but I am still buying when I can and see the right deal. I will be putting a good deal of time for the remaining year on development as I do not want to push things for sale currently in this market or time of year.
I am still replying to every offer that comes in as I always do but they are not happening nearly as much as they use to. My domain portfolio is getting stronger and stronger so I have to blame the economy on the lack of offers, but I am still waiting for my developer to finish my "new system" I am putting in place to sell my domains.
This month was my Lowest parking rev month since I have started domaining, so further reason to develop. I also scratch my head on developing because working with developers that I have ever tried simply Sucks! Failed promises, missed deadlines, iffy things etc.
I am still waiting for a development company to come along and please domainers… with fair prices, deadlines and so on but have yet to find any. (please do not contact me if you are a developer, I’ve heard it all already)
I spent the past 9 days with a nice group of Multi-Millionaires and the ones that I hung around with are just like You and Me! Real people that put their pants on the same way you and I do, dump in the toilet and brush their teeth etc. Each have their niche market in business (Camera store owner, McDonalds owner etc) but work hard at what they do. So that just shows that you (and I) still hold the chance to do it and make the Million! Domaining can do it and I think faster then my friends have made their fortune!
Here are a couple other funny things but have nothing to do with domaining… Just business and Insurance stuff so read if you wish…
It’s just been one of these weeks already and it’s only Monday!

Congrats on the baby–how exciting for you and your wife!
There is something about dental work that sets one on edge. Regular insurance doesn’t cover it, and yet regular dental care has a positive effect on the rest of the body–doesn’t make sense.
Anyway, so happy to hear about your good news!

Thank you Ms Domainer!
Just like most health insurance companies will not cover “stop smoking meds”. Just doesn’t make sense if you ask me.

Thank you Francois! Sorry to hear about Expiring Domains but glad to hear you pulled the plug pretty quickly. Best of luck with your next adventure as I know you will make it work!

First things first! Get that baby fully insured!!! And don’t choose a name unless the domain is available!! Sweet! You are both in for the ride of your lives. Our one and only, Lily (15yrs) domain regged, is truly the highlight of our life.
Next…Call that dentist and remind him that before you had the $10,000 surgery they tapped and prodded and checked for everything possible- or should have before they put you under! Also, they should have cleaned your teeth as a courtesy while you were drugged and your mouth was was being worked on… Heck, they clean your arm before they operate on it!

Thank you Kelly! Good stuff, I had to laugh about the dentist comments. The baby name should be no problem in a domain as Zoch is not a very common surname but I will be sure to register the .com in his or her name.
