Surfing the web today and I found a very cool free tool provided by Google. The tool is called Suggest Lab and for a domainer or website owner, it provides a sweet free tool. This is how I see it as a great tool.

The way Suggest Lab works, is by providing the most popular searches on google as you type. By typing in the letter S, it will show Sears as the first result. This means that Sears is the most popular search starting with S on Google. If you keep typing for the term that may interest you, like shoes, you will see "Shoes.com coupon" is the number 1 most searched term on google for that term. It will also continue and show the top 10 search results for that term.

This is extremely valuable info for a website owner and domainer if the information is used correctly!!!! For an advertiser, this will help you choose keywords for terms you want to advertise for. This really helps a website owner for SEO reasons to match keywords and meta tags! This will also help put a value on your domain name if you rank in the top 10 for an exact match. One plus to me that I wish Google would show, would be to show the actual number of searches done a month, but it is still very helpful info.

For a domainer, you can also try and find domain names that are available to the exact match of the keyword term. If you use FireFox, there is a great Addon that allows you to check availability of a domain name by highlight the term you want to check, right click and select Domain Lookup. This will do a search at a registrar and show you if the domain term is available.

Have fun playing around with these two great free tools and I hope they help you out!

Thanks for sharing but are you sure the ten results it lists arent re searches made but regarding google search engine results for that term?
If it is searches for the term are they monthly figures?

From my understanding, these are searches performed and rated on a monthly base. If you compare it to the results, it would not make sense, as the results are not in order. So I would say these are monthly search results.
