Most of the time when a domain owner owns a typo of a trademarked term, they try their best to cover all bases not to display any ads on a page related to the trademark, parking page, place text on the site that they are not affiliated with X etc.
Twiter.com which is a clear typo of Twitter.com, the super popular social networking site that has taken the word by storm, but Twiter.com must not care about Twitter coming after them.

Not only does the parking page have Twitter plastered all over it, it even appears they borrowed or have a very similar image that was on the homepage of the old Twitter homepage on Twitter.com.
I counted the Twitter term 26 times just on the parking page alone, which are all considered Ads.
Twiter.com also holds the Twitter term 3 times in it’s Meta Keywords (Twitter, Twitter Account and Twitter layouts).
Does Twiter.com get any traffic? You bet so and in the six figure range according to Compete.com! 123,113 uniques per month.
Owning a domain name like this and the actions taken with the parking page with using the trademarked term "Twitter", make this domain name owner a Cybersquatter. This is the kind of stuff that gives legit domain name owners a bad wrap.

Hey Jamie,
Would TheCW.com be considered a cybersquatting domain?
Leigh Ann
Good Example of cybersquatting Jamie.

I was going to say maybe Twitter owns the domain, and their plan for monetizing twitter is to make money off the typo through PPC – lol.
