The Minnesota Vikings are already cashing in on the Brett Favre legacy he built while playing with the Green Bay Packers! Now that Favre is meeting with the Vikings and by visiting Vikings.com should give you a good idea of what’s happening.
Vikings.com already has a splash page set up as Favre touched down on the ground in Minnesota selling Jersey’s and Tickets!

Even on Brett’s "Official" site OfficialBrettFavre.com, he is selling Pre-Order Autographed Viking Helmets before the ink hits the paper on the reported $10-12 Million dollar one year deal!

With the power of the internet, the Vikings and Favre are already cashing in!
The Favre image and ticket info on Vikings.com direct to TicketMaster.com and the Jersey orders are going to VikingsFanShop.com. Visiting the fan shop will show not only jersey’s of Favre but cups, pins, earrings, decals and a poster!
Getting a Favre Vikings Jersey is going to run you $260 for an official one or $80 for a replica according to the Vikings site!
It was reported earlier last week that Green Bay Packers Favre #4 Jersey’s were still in the top 5 of all Packers Jerseys. Packers.com or PackersProShop.com for $179 for an official jersey. (I am a Packers fan and will only link to a Packers site)
Ticket prices at StubHub.com for Packers vs. Vikings were still $75 each when Favre was in the air on the way to Minnesota but…

That quickly changed as pictured above with the breaking news of Favre and the Vikings meeting with pricing jumping to $189-$1,250 for Metrodome tickets and Lambeau Field tickets going for up to $3,000!
The Packers play the Vikings on October 5th 2009 in Minnesota which is a night game and will be covered by ESPN. The Vikings visit the Packers November 1st, 2009 at Lambeau Field which is a Noon game covered on FOX.
As of about 2 PM CT the Vikings have officially signed Brett Favre and used Vikings.com to announce it with a picture of Brett signing the dotted line.
