Thank you to all those for the get well wishes, it means a lot! The reason for the minor surgery was to remove a seed ganglion from the inside base of my index finger that ran into my hand a little which caused pain when I would pick up anything.
It hurts a heck of a lot more right now then it did before 
but it will start feeling better in a couple day’s when the swelling goes down and the wound starts healing up a bit.
Here is the raw picture of my hand when I took the bandage off this morning to clean it up a bit and rebandage it up. (thank you to my wife for taking the pic that grossed her out)
