Here is another one of my "Why I purchased" posting about a specific domain name that I own. Today’s domain name is MyRefill.com

When I saw this domain name while browsing expired domain auctions at Godaddy, It was a must have for me simply by the message the domain name carries by looking at it! My purchase price also made it a little easier to purchase as an investment and or future use of the domain myself.

Does MyRefill.com need to be bonded with a brand or product to be most effective? Likely, but once it is used in either marketing or simply used on a product or its packaging that can require a refill, the domain name will make even all that much more sense to the customers!

What do I see a perfect fit for MyRefill.com for? Perscription Drugs is likely the best fit and likely the highest money maker!

There is and will always be a large fight between companies for people’s RX refills. Getting "personal" is a nice touch and approach IMO. Hence why I like the word "MY" at the start of the domain name.

Following the word My is the the actual reason behind the domain and what people are looking to have done, Refill.

MyRefill.com is an extremely powerful term by itself. It is Very clear. It is very easy to spell. It holds the popular .com TLD. It is very easy to remember. It is very easy to read. It is very easy to say! It allows for a personal connection to your customers.

Does it pass ALL advertising measures in the form of TV, Radio and Print ads? With flying colors!

Used directly on a prescription bottle would allow to easily catch the customers eye for their next refill and delivers an easy location to visit. It answers the question on where to go to get my refill. Having the domain name printed on Brochures and the little bag you get at the pharmacy will also be appealing.

Clearly a lot of "other" items require a refill. So as the domain name owner, again, this leaves me with several options for the people I can approach to offer it for sale if I choose so. As a seller of anything, you have to love having options!

Some other products that require a refill in some way.

  • Ink (Computer Printers, Digital Sign Printers, Pens, Tattoo etc)
  • Toner
  • Water (gallon jugs)
  • Products in general that have "cartridges"
  • Gas (LP, Gasoline, Home Fuel Oil)
  • Industrial Cleaning Products

I guess I could go on and on with endless amounts of products that require a refill in one way or another. Getting that return business is very important to any business and being able to print MyRefill.com directly on the product they are using can easily allow the customer to visit the site and get the refill they need! Priceless really! Simple, yet very effective!

The term Refill is also becoming (if it’s not already) heavily attached to the "Go Green"  measures being taken.

This generic call-to-action domain name speaks volumes all by itself. Put on a product that requires a "refill" can and will increase refill / orders of the product by drawing the consumer to the website set up. MyRefill.com simply Makes Sense and speaks a loud and clear meassage! This domain name holds large potential in the message it carries. The above are some of the main reasons I purchased MyRefill.com .

If you hold interest in purchasing the domain name MyRefill.com, please feel free to contact me or visit MyRefill.com for more information.

Great catch!! I like the domain a lot. The possibilities are endless. The idea that came to my mind is that users create accounts, enter their prescriptions, and have an automated service remind them via text message or recordedphonecall when it is time to refill.
Another similar doman/website is freerefill.com. check it out, its a promotion website from some pen/ink company.

Jamie – We think alike. I picked up QuickRefills dot-com @ TDNAM late last year, for all the same reasons! Good luck with yours.

I picked up daily-dose.com a few weeks ago for similar (prescription) reasons. :)

Although I agree the other product reasons for this domain name is great, I think the “going green” idea does it for me. It falls right in line with the idea of going green.

What a catch. Good for you.

Nice name Jamie, I knew right away without reading any further than the title which industry you were going to target with that one!
