Sedo.com has put up another six figure domain name sale and this time it came in the form of a 2 word generic product domain name WoodPellets.com at $115,000.
Wood Pellets are used in home heating as a fuel source and are used in a fireplace that is also newer technology called a pellet stove.
This is a very nice sale and my congrats go out to the buyer and seller, as well as Sedo.
The domain name had privacy before the sale and does as well after it changed ownership, but currently WoodPellets.com forwards to PelletSales.com . What does PelletSales.com offer? You guessed it, Wood Pellets!
According to whois records, WoodPellets.com was first created 10-1-2000 and currently shows a low traffic number of 150 unique visitors per month but didn’t appear to be developed.

Perfect example of a nice end user sale. The pellet business is big, especially in rural areas.

Very smart strategic buy if you’re in it for the long-term, just hope they do something better than just pointing the domain. I’d build another website with different content etc on it. With 2 websites feeding sales they would get even more business

I also hope they do something other then a forward, but with that kind of money spent, I would think a stand alone brand would be built with it. WoodPellets.com “Products”, it’s own site etc.
