With the massive rush on to developing your domain names, a simple and cost effective way is needed. Paying $250 for a minisite is just not cost effective enough!

Well, here is your solution! XSitePro2 Web Development software. Even better news, right now XSite is offering this full scale software for $100 off! The normal price of $297 USD is cut down to $197 currently for a limited time! I suggest you buy it now, because saving $100 right now is a Big Deal.

I purchased this software very late Monday Night so didn’t start playing around until Tuesday. By noon Tuesday I had 2 sites up and running. Today, I put up another and could put up 10-15 if I wished with my template that I created (text).

If you have used WordPress before, it is similar but much easier, faster to load info and much more. Lots of nice features as well.

Ok so what  will you need? I have a hosting account with HostGator.com ($9.95 per month) I just use the "baby" package. Once you have that, you will need to purchase the XSitePro2 software which is currently $197. Total $206.95

You can build Minisites, (as many as you wish). You can build a Sales website for a product or service you have. I created sites for selling some specific domain names. By doing this, I will help the domain get indexed and ranked better due to using specific keywords and descriptions in the software. The sites that I did were VERY easy after I had my content in place. I set it up so I only had to change a couple words and the Keywords and Descriptions for each site I added. Now if I want to offer a specific domain for sale using my system, I am looking at Maybe 10 minutes tops per site/domain!

I started out using a couple different templates at first to see if one style seems to draw more interest. Here are the sites that I put up so far. (remember, I purchased XSite yesterday). BuyExpiringDomains.com is one, HandTrowel.com is another and InsectCandle.com is another. SEOBuddy.com is another option. How about one I created for my mom’s site, she is a Realtor. BarbMachon.com .

You will notice I currently only have One Form of making money on those four sites and that’s an affiliate banner on the Purchase page. I could if I want, add Google adsense (right from a tab in Xsite) or product links from Amazon (again right from a tab in XSite) or simply banners (XSite offers a banner rotator right in the system) Right now, I do not want to focus on that, I want to focus on Selling!

Again, all these templates are fully customizable. Plus there are tons of Widgets, RSS tools, Picture Tools, Video Tools, Cloaking tools. Trust me, this software is LOADED!

I do not suggest many products very often, but if you are going to be developing on your domain names, this will be the best $197 you are going to spend. In the 1.5 days I have owned it so far, I have 4 sales sites up and I could easily turn those into MiniSites as well with ease if I wish!

If you are going to do minisites, I would design them in XSitePro, outsource the "content" and you will be popping out minisites like CRAZY…. adding affiliate or adsense is one click away!

These are not just some crappy looking sites. You can fully customize any of the hundreds of templates and the massive amount of already loaded buttons, arrow, pictures and so much more. Besure to visit the Help/Tuturial after downloading the software because there is a download there as well for A Lot more templates, pictures etc. I missed that at first..

I highly suggest you purchase this software if you are going to do or are doing development in any other way. It is super easy with XSite Pro2 and it’s even $100 Cheaper right now for a limited time! Only $197 will unlock you from the $250 PER minisite you are currently paying. Think of the Sale Pages you can create and so much more!

Looks like good software. I have used a couple of different site builders in my day. I started off with Homestead.com and moved to CoffeeCup.com visual site builder. I absolutely love visual site builder. VSB is only $49 and with it I put up http://starvingstudentwebdesign.com/ in just an hour or two.

It really helps throw up sites fast as well! Nothing like a good WYSIWYG editors when you have hundreds of domains ehh…

I checked your site and it’s way out of wack. Pushed far to the right. I use IE7 btw. Text is all stacked on top of each other etc. I will stick with XSitePro2 ;)

Really! Ha! Well, good thing that I am not offering the service anymore. It looks just fine in Firefox to me. I will check it out in IE7 and see what I can do (when I have the time=))

I’ve heard good thigns about xsite but I’m paranoid that google looks at the sites as low quality (probably not likely).

also – you should disclose those are affiliate links imo.

    **Jamie Says**
I really do not think Google or any search engine would look bad at any site built by XSitePro. BANS or something like that “maybe” because all that are created are so “close”.
    ~
As for the affiliate links, I don’t think I need to disclose that. If you are interested in the product and my writings made you purchase it, how else am I going to get credit for it? I do not feel that I hide the links because in a mouse-over you can clearly see it’s an affiliate. I guess I could of cloaked them but I choose not to do that.
    ~
Affiliate links are not cancer… your computer will not Blow Up if you click an affiliate link, so I see no reason to have to disclose if a link is affiliated or not. Just my 2 cents. ;)

    Jamie,
The wedding template you have is beyond beautiful.

    **Jamie Says**
I would say Thank You Frankie, but it’s simply a template that XSite Pro2 offers, so I would have to pass along the Thank You to XSitePro ;) (I did change a little tiny section in the center of the header)

  6. very nice, i think i will have to pick up a copy of that myself :)

    **Jamie Says**
I was really shocked how easy it is! I think it’s even easier then setting up a WordPress blog…

Nice sites given that you created then in just a day or so.

I know about XsitePro for a long time…..as I get time to develop some sites I am planning to buy it.

Too busy working on ImpactDomains.com at this moment.

Btw, I don’t see any problem with affiliate links as they are quite obvious to most surfers.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you Tony! I look forward to seeing what you build out ;)

Not a big deal, some people call out their aff links and others don’t. I like it when they do, especially when something is being pushed hard.

  10. Jamie,

I am so glad to finally see this market maturing. For years I’ve been pushing the need for developers to catch up with the domaining industry and put out products that will enable us to develop our properties fast and cost-effectively. Xsite looks like a good way to get a site up and get it indexed. However, I didn’t see evidence in your new sites of Title Tag manipulation. I assume you can???

For those who want a little more robust solution to quick development, I would suggest http://www.SimplWeb.com (no affiliation) that leverages the Joomla CMS platform (open source) to enable domainers to mass produce sites. I’m a big fan of Joomla and the Search Engine Friendly aspect of Joomla 1.5 is killer and we’ve had sites make dramatic SERP jumps. If you want to go really big, I’ve found eDirectory.com (no affiliation), but they are cost-prohibitive for the “shotgun” approach.

Thanks for the providing excellent content on your blog. I’ll keep reading. Track me down if you go to the LA or NO conferences.

Curious to know why you chose xsite over Host Gators templates? What other products did you consider? Looks like xsite is PC only, any Mac suggestions?

    **Jamie Says**
Hi Pete. A template is just a template. XSitePro2 offers so much more. I really have NO development skills and I needed a tool that was really easy. XSitePro really “builds” all your files you need to create a website and you simply upload it to your hosting. I use HostGator and loading couldn’t be easier. Updating a site takes seconds etc. As for Mac, I am not a Mac user so I have not searched for programs that work with it. I would suggest using WordPress or XSitePro2. I also use xHeader http://www.xheader.com/ . FTP is built into XSite, so you really do not need anything else.

It shows me this message. What did I do wrong ? :s

“This is so embarrassing. Try logging out and logging back in. If that doesn’t fix it, call us at 866-800-0004 ext. 2 and we’ll get you squared away.”

  13. Great post Jamie. I have been using XSitePro2 for a few months now and highly recommend it. As a domainer with no programming or web design knowledge I have been able to pick it up and start creating sites on my domains. If you check out the link on my name here you will see one I created on New York State. This is now getting around 50 visitors per day while a cricket site I created is getting around 100 visitors per day. I will be revamping the cricket site to make it much more cleaner and nicer to look at and provide more content to ramp up the visitors. It already ranks second in Google results for the term cricket rules.
I have been slack over the past month or two but will be getting back into development with XSitePro2 soon. I recently registered a couple of town .info sites (one is the town where I live and the other is about 10km away). I will be developing these into full sites using XSitePro2 and the newly released XSite Header program which is fantastic for creating beautiful headers for your sites. Are you using this Jamie? It is a fantastic tool with hundreds of pre-designed headers that are able to be used or edited. They look very professional and integrate well into XSitePro or other programs.
It would be great if more domainers bought these tools and got to work creating mini sites or full sites for some of their domains. In this day and age parking just doesn’t cut it. I also believe in giving back to the web through creating genuine sites rather than simply parking everything.

    **Jamie Says**
Thank you for the post David. Great sites you created. I do use xHeader (which is free). I also like your thought about giving back to the web! Parking does not do that IMO.

I really hate sounding negative, but I don’t get why people are paying $300 for something they can do for free? These features are easily duplicatable and all you would need is a hosting account. *Sigh*

  15. Daniel – not everyone has the knowledge to duplicate them. Plus the amount of templates and easy to integrate features is worth it IMO.

I tried xsitepro for 10 days before I went back to using MS Frontpage (that I have used for over 10 years). It is easy enough to build a re-usable template in Frontpage with Amazon ads, Google Adsense ads, and RSS feeds etc that xsite pro does too. With xsitepro I had to publish any changes locally then using a ftp utility to get my files to upload (to a Godaddy hosted account $3.99 per month) as xsitepro would not publish files directly. And worst, it took xsitepro over 10 working days to refund my money on their 30 day money back guarantee! I got two emails saying they were going to refund my money “right away” but it still took them 10 working days (Monday of the first week to Friday of the next week)!

    Hey Jamie,

Yes XSite Pro 2 is a great website building tool and it does not have a huge learning curve.

I build most of my quick mini-sites such as http://www.waterpurifiers.in & http://www.solarpanels.in in XSite Pro 2 and for some other larger sites that require a better content management system I will use WordPress. Both are great tools.

    Cheers

    **Jamie Says**
Thank you for the comments Ed! Both XSite Pro and WordPress are two tools I never thought I would use but boy was I wrong! I am very happy that I came across XSite Pro and how easy it is to use. WordPress is pretty easy but XSite Pro can duplicate sites so easy is one thing I really liked.

  18. Yes…XSite Pro2 is the bomb….excellent tutorial and help manuals and support as well. There is now even a XSite Pro Club for those that eat and breath website development. Paul Smithson, the creator of the software keeps everyone informed of any news through emails. He occasionally will send out free links to other software or information that he has found helpful for website development. Yes…you can start out fast getting websites set up but once you look under the hood there is a whole lot of sophisticated things you can do with this software. Highly recommended!

    AGREE COMPLETELY.

    Life changing software. Seriously.

I want to sit in a dark room with this for a week to crank out sites.

    Thanks for the plug Jay!
We can indeed do some powerful things with Simplweb. Although we can create hundreds, even thousands of sites, its better used for more significant projects. If you just need a few pages, then XSite Pro would be better.

But if you want a few hundred social networking sites, with full forum, directory etc etc features, then its worth thinking about leveraging open source CMS’s like Joomla (what we use on Simplweb)

Did I mention we have a free trial?

    Jamie,
How would you compare XSite Pro to a program like WhyPark.com? I like WhyPark a lot but find some of the template offerings limited, there is also no monthly hosting fee.

    Dec 12, 2008

Yes, I’ve had XSite Pro 2 for a couple of months and am also delighted with it. Have published half a dozen sites so far, with more to come! It’s like good desktop publishing software – it won’t make an idiot look like a cutting-edge design pro, but it enables anyone to make “good enough” sites with little time or expertise. (They also gave a free header design program to their XSite user base recently, a nice touch.)

I’ve been noticing that I can usually tell when a template is from xsitepro – and I”m no developer, so I don’t know if that’s good sign. At least the simple templates seem a little too cookie cutter.

Also, if you are selling your mini-sites – does the person buying have to have xsitepro as well?

Thanks for the XSite Pro recommendation. I have one other site developed with Godaddy’s Website Tonight but have no real web development expertise. I had to consult with Godaddy support a couple of times regarding the technical specks to upload the files but I am pleased with the results. Now I can start developing a few minisites! Thanks.

    **Jamie Says**
No problem Leonard. Let me know how it goes with XSite and what you develop. If you have any questions just let me know as well and I will see if I can assist.

Thanks again for the XSite Pro mention. I momentarily tried Google Adwords for advertising but the competition is so intense for positioning that my bid offers never got me on the first two pages (now disactivated). But I just checked Google and with no fancy SEO effort whatsoever, my site appears on the first page of Google for the phrase “generic domains.” I suppose XSite Pro has something to do with that. I’ll have to develop a few other domains and see if positioning is that easy.
